Today (26 Dec 2019), reporters reported that the water level in the Yakang Canal, Mueang Narathiwat District, continues to rise until it overflows the banks and floods the houses of villagers on both sides of the canal, 1-2 meters high, including water overflowing into the inner economic zone of the Yakang community and important economic areas in Narathiwat City, causing severe damage to shops and houses of villagers.
